Install the led turn signal lights: Connect the new led lights to the wiring harness. Place the lights in the same position as the old bulbs. Secure the lights using the screws or bolts. Test the lights: Turn on the Jeep Cherokee ignition and activate the turn signals to ensure the led lights function properly.
If they don't shut off, most likely it is your turn signal switch, and that is way too hard to explain how to replace it. Also, with the hazards, try to jiggle the switch when you press it. It might just be dirty. See if any lights come on when you press it. They may not flash, but they should turn on. 1) Remove the light assembly as if you were going to change a bulb. 2) Turn the socket and remove it from the taillight assembly and set it aside (check to be sure your bulb is not burnt out). 3) Look at the opening, you will see 3 flat chrome colored contacts on the assembly. 4) Notice the one by it self at the top of the opening, that is the 18088 posts · Joined 2007. #2 · Apr 12, 2015. That usually means the front fixtures aren't grounded. Stock there is a tab on one side of the fixture that needs a special shoulder screw to clamp it to the grill for the signal ground. The turn signal not working can be as simple as the bulb or it can be related to a bad Ground Circuit or an open wire. The best way to repair that is by using the "Split Half method where in you split the electrical system in half and continue to work back to source voltage.
