Far Cry 5 was my second game of the franchise, after loving Far Cry 4. I bought it not too far from release thinking it'd be better than Far Cry 4 in every way. I heavily disliked it. So much so, that I completely left the game just before finishing and only came back 8 months after because I was straight up fed up with it.
I'm guessing it's because Far Cry 5 is immensely easier and you progress a lot faster. Nothing wrong with that. I love 5 also. I'd recommend giving FC4 a shot to experience the story.
San Francisco. Dec 9, 2019. #3. Days Gone. It has a much better story than Far Cry 5. Its take on open world games is far from unique, but there's good worldbuilding, good characters. I liked the bike too. Far Cry 5 is by no means bad, but it's pretty much Far Cry again. Nope fc4 is better cause you can ride elephants and drive rikshaws and shoot idiots in the head while Bollywood music blasts on the radio. Opinions aren't fact. It’s personal preference. I like FC4 better than 3, but I enjoy 4’s story more than Jason’s. I feel like I have more choices and more control. Personally I have dozens of more hours and playthroughs of far cry 5 than I do far cry 6 but to wrap it up. Far cry 6 has longer storyline and bigger map exploration and far cry 5 has a ton of replay value and new game + to keep repaying it and a much better perk system in my opinion.
So I wanted to play Far Cry 3 but the game runs not good. I have an RX 5700XT and a Ryzen 5 3600. On max settings the game gets below 75fps a lot of the time and on high settings it still gets below 75 fps. I've heard about far cry games not being that good optimized for ryzen cpu's but Far Cry 5 runs better than far cry 3 which is pretty weird?
