In a way, the buying decision for the XF 14mm F2.8 R is a very simple one - if you use an X-system camera and need a lens wider than 18mm, at the time of writing it's your only real choice. Fujifilm is promising a wideangle zoom, the XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS, but it won't be available until the end of 2013.
It is a new model since you purchased yours new I would suspect it is the new latest and greatest WR version so is fully up to date. But if it is not then it should update fine. No es un enorme problema porque lo puedes chequear en el visor, peroI’m wondering if it‘s worth the extra cost to rent the Fuji XF 8-16mm f/2.8f R WR vs. the more affordable Fuji XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR. The 8-16mm is almost double the cost also double the weight. #2: I’m trying to pack light and I want to take as few lenses as possible without suffering regrets!
Also missing is the XF 10-24mm F4 OIS. I feel this lens has been adequately covered on my site in my XF 10-24mm F4 OIS vs. Primes piece, and that along with my Wide Angle Primes piece will suggest that if absolute quality is desired, the XF 16mm F1.4 WR should be selected instead. Finally, the lenses in my comparison are all weather sealedLnkJGy.
