A6 (C7 Platform) Discussion - Can't get Hidden Menu to display with VAG - So I've searched all over, but can't find anyone that seems to have gotten the Hidden Menu to display on a 2012 A6 (which lacks the Setup button referenced in other threads. I enabled the hidden / diagnostic menu using VCDS, but the menu does C7 A6/S6/RS6 A7/S7/RS7; Hidden Green Screen; There is no “green screen” menu on the C7.5 platform, with upgraded MIB2 MMI. 2018 Audi RS6 Performance The reason my MMI didn't retact was because of the nylon string snap, there's two sting one for opening and the other for closing. I was able to use a 12 volt power to move the motor in the open and close position. I plan to create a test bed when i have time to try and fix the AUDI mmi using replacement nylon when i have more free time.

Fuses are in the luggage compartment fuse box, centre row. Pull fuse 3 'Radio/navigation' fuse (7.5amps), fuse 'Control unit for digital sound system' (30amps) and fuse 5 'MMI' (5 amps). Clearly a software glitch that couldn't be sorted by rebooting the MMI but a power down reboot did the trick. NOTE: This worked for B&O 2G nav MMI can't say it

VCDS can't activate the hidden menu on a A3 8V - nor can VCDS activate VIM on any of the new models (A3, A6, A7, etc.). For this activation you can buy another product [. moderated] Maybe Ross Tech should look into what this VCP can do, that VCDS can't do ?? - as I understand it, it can Read/Write the EEPROM - where the hidden menu and VIM

First enable CAR menu tyre pressure entry from the MMI hidden menu (see above for how to access the MMI hidden menu in MMI 2G or 3G) or, if your car has an Audi Chorus/Concert/Symphony radio without hidden menu, check for/enable the tyre pressure checkbox in VAG-COM/VCDS coding for module 56 - Radio.
